Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a vigilant security supervisor to oversee entry and exit control for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles across the site. The role includes verifying IDs and permits, coordinating with Stores, Logistics, and Project teams, and coordinating with authorities when required.

The position involves regular security patrols, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and conducting security awareness programs to maintain a safe, compliant site aligned with HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit of employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles at the site.
• Verify IDs, permits, and material movement documents to ensure proper clearance.
• Conduct regular security patrols across fabrication shops, laydown areas, warehouses, jetty, and yard premises.
• Prevent theft, pilferage, trespassing, vandalism, and unauthorized activities within the premises.
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and security alarms for rapid threat detection.
• Maintain records of personnel movement, visitor passes, vehicle logs, and incident reports.
• Verify material inward and outward movement in coordination with Stores, Logistics, and Project teams.
• Support emergency response activities during fire, medical emergencies, natural calamities, and security incidents.
• Investigate security breaches and prepare incident reports with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with local authorities, police, coast guard, and emergency response agencies when required.
• Supervise contract security personnel and ensure discipline, deployment, and shift management.
• Conduct security awareness programs and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with company security procedures, statutory regulations, and HSE requirements.
