Job summary

InterScripts Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Security Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity program. The role focuses on implementing security measures across systems, networks, and data, including vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance.

The engineer will design security architectures, monitor threats, and coordinate remediation with internal teams and vendors. A strong background in GRC, HIPAA/HITECH/PCI/NIST frameworks, and cloud security is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• OR High School diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CEH, GCIH, GSEC, or other equivalent cybersecurity certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Program.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and security reviews.
• Maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
• Design and implement cybersecurity strategies and security architectures.
• Identify system security requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain security tools and infrastructure.
• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activities.
• Develop preventive security measures and improve security controls.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.
• Prepare security reports, dashboards, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to address security risks.
