Job summary

MitKat is seeking a Security Enablement Officer to monitor CCTV consoles and coordinate security operations in the Command Centre at our India locations. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely reporting in line with quality standards.

You will monitor alarms, incidents, access management, and incidents; you will liaise with local security teams and the Global Security Command Centre to share updates and resolve threats.

Qualifications

• Graduate with good communication and writing skills and/or experienced professional (At least 1 years) who has worked in a Security Operations Centre of a reputed company.
• Proficiency in security technology applications such as CCure, IVMS, Veracity, Lenel etc. or the likes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; the ability to present information in a graphic format and prepare and share concise reports as per process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on security equipment, applications, alarms, local intelligence, security incidents, and access management.
• Support local events and security incident resolution; identify potential threats and communicate with the security team.
• Coordinate with the Global Security Command Centre (GSCC) for incident information exchanges and inputs on security concerns or threats.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of events that occur during shifts.
• Take immediate action in case of serious events such as fire or violence.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for employee support.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of Security Enablement Officer will be to monitor and operate the consoles for CCTV Monitoring, Surveillance, correlate with external threats and open-source information within the Command Centre of Clients location in a professional efficient manner to ensure integrity, accuracy confidentiality of all information gained by compliance with quality standards legislation,and in accordance with the companys systems and procedures. The individual will:

• Perform the activities of monitoring and reporting of security equipment, applications, alarms, local intelligence, security incidents, employee security assistance service, security audit assistance, ID badge, access management, management of alarms, emergencies, and crises in coordination with local security teams of Client and identified service partners.
• Support all the local events, security incident resolution, identify potential security threats at respective locations and communicate the same to the respective security team.
• Coordinate with the Global Security Command Centre (GSCC) for exchange of any incident related information, assist the GSCC with any employee related security concern, take/give inputs from/to GSCC in case of any security concern or potential threats.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of various events which have occurred during the shift.
• Take immediate action in case of serious events like fire, violence etc.
• Liaison with internal/external stakeholders for employee support.

Requirements

• Graduate with good communication and writing skills and/or experienced professional (At least 1 years) who has worked in a Security Operations Centre of a reputed company.
• Good working knowledge of security technology applications such as CCure, IVMS, Veracity, Lenel etc. or the likes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; the ability to present information in a graphic format and prepare and share concise reports as per process.
• Language proficiency in English (read, write, and speak English) and local language as per location of Security Operations Centre.
• Relevant certifications/training in GSOC/command centre/control room operations will be an added advantage.
• Certifications in risk management/crisis management and advanced computer skills will be an added advantage.

• Ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to breaking situations within tight timelines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
