Job summary

Orbus International is seeking a Senior Vault Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise HashiCorp Vault environments in production. You will support highly available cloud platforms and implement advanced security controls, including IAM, PKI, and encryption.

The role requires hands-on Vault Enterprise experience, Terraform/Ansible automation, and strong Linux scripting skills, with knowledge of OpenShift or Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, SRE, IAM, or secrets management.
• 3+ years administering HashiCorp Vault Enterprise in production.
• Experience with enterprise cloud platforms and highly available systems.
• Strong Vault administration, IAM, PCI/PKI and encryption knowledge.
• IaC with Terraform; automation using Ansible; versioning with Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise Vault environments.
• Support enterprise cloud platforms and highly available distributed systems.
• Implement and manage Vault Enterprise features (Namespaces, DR/NR, Audit).
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

Job description

Vault Platform Engineering Design, build, and maintain enterprise HashiCorp Vault environments.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, IAM, PAM, or Secrets Management.

3+ years of hands‑on experience administering and supporting HashiCorp Vault Enterprise in production environments.

Experience supporting enterprise‑scale cloud platforms and highly available distributed systems.A25

Skills

Strong hands‑on experience with HashiCorp Vault administration and engineering.

Experience with Vault Enterprise features including

• o Namespaces
• o Performance Replication
• o Disaster Recovery Replication
• o Integrated Storage / Raft
• o Audit Logging

Strong AWS experience including IAM, EC2, networking, Route53, and S3.

Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

Experience with Linux administration and scripting.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

Knowledge of PKI, certificates, encryption, secrets management, and privileged access concepts.
