iTeach Schools is seeking a dedicated teacher to join our Pune/Navi Mumbai campuses. You will teach core subjects for secondary grades, mentor students, and contribute to school projects like Hobby Clubs and Career Awareness programs.

The role emphasizes strong academics, holistic student development, and active parent collaboration. A Bachelor’s degree is required; B Ed is preferred, with 1-2 years of teaching experience in secondary grades.

Key Responsibilities

A teacher at iTeach Schools wears multiple hats to ensure an excellent education for their students. The three different parts of the role are:

Teaching your subject (60% time)

• Teach one or two subjects of your expertise to your class.
• Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and give feedback to students.
• Build a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy.
• Collaborate with parents of the students through regular meetings to ensure their active involvement.

Mentoring students (20% time)

• Mentor nearly 15-20 students throughout the year.
• Develop ways to ensure that these students have strong study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel - share these plans with all teachers across the ecosystem.

Help with school projects (20% time)

• Collaborate with Senior Teachers to implement school projects such as Hobby Clubs, Career Awareness, Annual Day, Sports Day, etc.
• Use these opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills and mentor new teachers.

Prerequisites

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic and holistic performance.
• Preferred: B Ed Degree.
• Preferred: Teaching experience in a secondary grade for 1-2 years.

Compensation and Benefits:

We take pride in offering competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with the candidate's education and work experience. The salary range for this position ranges from 36k - 50k pm (CTC), and we are dedicated to providing top-notch industry benefits.
