About the Role

We are looking for an insight-driven SEO specialist who is working at the forefront of the AI Search (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) era, with proven experience in scaling organic growth and visibility. You will bring strong fundamentals, but this is not a traditional SEO role. The landscape has evolved, and this position focuses on shaping strategy, experimentation, and insights across modern discovery systems. Our goal is to lead in AI visibility and define how legal professionals and platforms show up across these emerging surfaces, supported by a strong commitment to innovation, continuous testing, and rapid, scalable execution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner to uncover content opportunities.
• Optimize on-page SEO elements meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, and content structure - to improve SERP rankings.
• Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing goals and campaign timelines.
• Collaborate with the SEO, design, and marketing teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and strategy.
• Track content performance via Google Analytics and Search Console; iterate based on traffic, rankings, and engagement data.
• Identify and fill content gaps through competitive research and audience analysis.
• Repurpose long-form content into social posts, infographics, newsletters, and other formats.
• Stay current with Google algorithm updates, AI search trends, and content marketing best practices.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of proven experience as a content writer with a strong SEO focus.
• Demonstrated portfolio of published content that has ranked well organically.
• Solid understanding of on-page SEO, keyword strategy, and content architecture.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console).
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar.
• Excellent research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI writing tools and ability to prompt, review, and refine AI-generated content.
• Familiarity with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) for AI-driven search platforms.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for content formatting.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
