About the company:

Sea6 Energy is a company working on the development of large-scale cultivation of seaweed using floating farms, and manufacturing of seaweed-based products for applications primarily in Agriculture, with the aim of further venturing into several other value-added products with applications in Animal Feed, Food Additives, and Renewable Plastics.

The company needs an IT Manager based out of Bangalore who has a passion for implementing IT solutions for a rapidly growing company and has the commitment to apply his/her skills to a variety of problems at hand. You will be primarily responsible for all aspects of IT systems operations, implementing software/IT projects and daily maintenance.

Sea6 was founded in 2010 at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and comprises of a multidisciplinary and highly talented team of engineers and scientists. Responsibilities:

1. Manage the IT team and manage all projects/initiatives of the IT Team.
2. Key & strong liaison leader between IT and business.
3. Strict adherence to SLAs & KPIs, as determined and agreed upon.
4. Communicate the status of projects & initiatives effectively with the Sea6 Energy leadership team.
5. Communicate the risks, issues, and challenges to Sea6 Leadership regularly and as required and seek resolutions.
6. Identify key and power users within the Sea6 Leadership team and broader Sea6 Energy team. Ensure that user satisfaction targets are achieved and excelled.
7. Exercise required controls and proposed improvements as required, including quality plans, issues and action logs, risk management plans for all aspects of service delivery.
8. Ensure business and assignment risks are identified, monitored, and managed to achieve minimal disruption to the project delivery and success.

Qualification and skills:

1. 6-8 years of experience in AMS and IT Project Management.
2. Experience and knowledge of IT Infrastructure and platform management that includes servers, cloud, networks, and other facilities.
3. Experience in enterprise security & implementation a plus.
4. Project Management for delivering short software/IT projects in sales/marketing, R&D, and other departments.
5. Good interpersonal skills and business analysis to quickly capture end-user requirements and ability to communicate effectively.
