Job summary

Thales is seeking a seasoned Test Engineer in Bengaluru to lead automated testing across our real-time security SaaS product. You will design, implement, and execute Java-based automation tests covering frontend, backend, APIs, and security aspects while collaborating with R&D, PM, and security teams.

You will contribute to agile testing processes within our SDLC, adapt CI pipelines, and ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience as a Test Engineer in a SaaS, Security, or Enterprise product space.
• Experience programming in Java and using Selenium.
• Knowledge of Web Applications.
• Experience with SaaS Environment.
• Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc).
• Experience with deployment cycle and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
• Experience with Linux scripting and fundamentals.
• Attention to details, strong analytical skills, and ability to solve complex problems under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop and execute Java based automation tests for functional, acceptance, system, performance and penetration testing of our real-time security product.
• Collaborate with R&D, PM, Security and analytics teams to improve testing approach and execution for the cross-functional Scrum team.
• Design and implement agile testing processes for efficient SDLC: adapt existing CI infrastructure to team practices; write, maintain, and improve automation tests for frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Collaborate with team members to enable continuous testing and delivery.
