Job summary

Zinier in Bengaluru is seeking an AI Test Engineer with strong backend and automation experience to test AI-powered services, APIs, and field-workflows.

You will collaborate with Backend, AI/ML, and Product teams to build reliable quality frameworks for AI-driven capabilities and integrate tests into CI/CD.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in QA/SDET, expertise in backend/API testing, and hands-on experience with REST Assured, Playwright, Selenium.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in QA, SDET, or Test Automation.
• Strong experience in backend/API testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with REST Assured, Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD and performance/reliability testing.
• Hands-on exposure to LLM/GenAI testing, RAG, prompt testing, AI evaluation, or AI agents.

Responsibilities

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a SDET-2 to join our rapidly expanding product development team. This role is primarily responsible for testing customer solutions built using Zinier platform and products. The primary focus of this engineer will be to build test plans and troubleshoot failures in existing applications.
