Job summary

Arintra in Bengaluru, India, seeks a senior software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable systems. You will own the architecture and guide engineering decisions from design through production, building reusable components and setting engineering standards from scratch.

You will mentor engineers, drive code quality, and collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and building scalable software systems and architecture from scratch, preferably for B2C products.
• Strong proficiency in Java or Python; Java preferred.
• Expertise in writing clean, maintainable, testable, and production-grade code, including code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices.
• Practical exposure to LLM-powered coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, API design, and backend engineering.
• Graduate from a Tier-1 engineering institution, preferably IIT, IISc, BITS, IIIT, or a leading NIT.
