Job summary

Amazon is hiring Software Development Engineers to build customer-focused systems that scale globally from Bengaluru. You will work on distributed, high-performance software, participate in design reviews, and ship features from concept to production in fast cycles.

We value ambiguity tolerance, collaboration across teams, and the ability to write clean, robust code. Minimum 3+ years of production software experience and a Bachelor's degree are expected, with mentorship and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building production software experience.
• Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
• 1+ year of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.

• Take the lead on building innovative solutions to address the root causes of tax and invoicing defects
• Own technical relationships with business teams and cross-functional partners
• Design and implement scalable systems that handle millions of transactions
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems in tax calculation, invoicing, and compliance
• Contribute to the global expansion of our services
• Have a strong bias for action, invent and simplify, insist on the highest standards, and deliver results

About the team

We are an early stage start-up who have launched multiple global cross border logistics solutions are live in 25+ cross-border regions across NA, EU, JP, AU and AE marketplaces and are now looking to enhance the SX and scale the platform to 50+ new regions in the next two years. Basic Qualifications
