Amazon Freight in India is hiring software engineers to tackle scalable, high-impact problems in trucking and logistics. You will collaborate with senior SDEs to design and implement systems that improve quotation, shipper identity, and communication architectures across our growing network.

The role focuses on building reliable, scalable services, addressing scheduling and network design challenges, and delivering tooling that enhances customer experience while optimizing operations.

Formación

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Amazon Freight is building an innovative transportation network with the vision of redefining shipping for its customers. As our Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and Truckload (TL) business continues to grow, booking and execution efficiency is a critical capability that enables us to deliver competitive service offering while optimizing network utilization, carrier performance, and long-term profitability.
You will be working on a range of challenging tech opportunities that includes (1) building a new quotation architecture (2) Building shipper identities and profile (3) Improving shipper communication architecture (4) core network challenges like network design and demand mismatch (5) Scheduling reliability and service quality (6) A new operator tooling application.
You will be working with senior SDEs and principals to solve problems of scale, improve existing services & build new ones, and work on deep and complex algorithms to improve the experience of our customers globally while optimizing network operations.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
