Amazon Freight in Hyderabad is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer to help define and scale transportation network capabilities.
You will design and implement critical software systems for quotations, shipper identities, and communications, while improving network design and scheduling reliability. The role requires strong business judgment, data-driven decision making, and leadership experience in engineering teams.

You will be working on a range of challenging tech opportunities that includes (1) building a new quotation architecture (2) Building shipper identities and profile (3) Improving shipper communication architecture (4) core network challenges like network design and demand mismatch (5) Scheduling reliability and service quality (6) A new operator tooling application.
This position requires strong business judgment, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, is comfortable making data-driven decisions in ambiguous environments, and has experience translating complex transportation economics into scalable network execution strategies.
