Job summary

Synapsewave Innovations in Bengaluru is seeking an SDE2 Backend Engineer to own feature development, design scalable components, and evolve our core backend systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include building backend services with Python or Golang, ensuring testability, optimizing performance, contributing to CI/CD, and collaborating with product, QA, DevOps.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of backend development experience with Python or Golang.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Linux development and containerization (Docker).

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and high-performance solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python or Golang.
• Write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Implement automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams for end-to-end feature delivery.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in backend development with Python or Golang.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OOPs principles.
• Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Linux development, Docker, and basic cloud concepts (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools or exposure to projects involving large language models (LLMs) is a plus.
