GoKiwi in Bengaluru is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable services primarily with Java/Spring Boot. You will work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB, and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.

You will ensure code quality, performance, and security while exploring new tech to boost efficiency and system reliability. The role emphasizes ownership and fast-paced delivery.

Formación

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot). Experience with Python or Go is a plus.
• Deep understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with data streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Experience contributing to at least one complex, high-scale project.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make trade-offs in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of application security principles (e.g. OWASP, authentication mechanisms) is an added advantage.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and making decisions in evolving environments.
• Strong sense of ownership and a focus on making an impact.
