Job summary

Veltris is seeking an SD-WAN Technical Lead Engineer with strong C/C++ and Linux expertise, based in Hyderabad/Bangalore in a hybrid work setup. The role focuses on developing and debugging high-performance, multithreaded systems, optimizing packet flows, and delivering robust SD-WAN networking solutions.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on SD-WAN appliance experience, routers/firewalls, and strong debugging/profiling skills.

Qualifications

• Strong C/C++ development and debugging of multithreaded, performance-sensitive systems.
• Strong knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP, routing, forwarding, tunneling, NAT, QoS and packet flows.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN appliances, routers, firewalls or network operating systems.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and experience with GDB, packet capture, profiling, tracing, logs and core analysis.
• Experience troubleshooting complex, intermittent, performance, scale and production issues.
• Understanding of control, management and datapath layers.
• Experience with Git/source control, code reviews, CI/CD, defect tracking and regression testing.
• Python and networking automation experience is a plus.
• Enterprise/service-provider networking product experience is preferred.
