Job summary

Konverge.ai in India seeks a Senior Scrum Master with 8+ years to drive Agile delivery across technology and AI-focused teams. You will partner with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, AI/ML teams, Architects, and stakeholders to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery and to advance Agile maturity.

The role requires leading Scrum ceremonies, managing backlogs, tracking metrics, removing impediments, and coordinating across Scrum teams for program-level delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall professional experience as Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Lead.
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Mandatory exposure to AI/ML projects or AI-driven products.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, ML, NLP, or AI platforms preferred.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery.
• Proven experience managing multiple teams or complex technology initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Own and drive the end-to-end Agile delivery process for multiple technology/AI initiatives.
• Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure well-defined, prioritized, and sprint-ready backlogs.
• Track sprint progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery milestones.
• Identify and remove impediments and blockers impacting engineering and AI teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams including Software Engineers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, AI Engineers, QA, DevOps, Product, and Architecture teams.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Monitor Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown/burnup, cycle time, throughput, predictability, and release progress.
• Identify delivery risks and communicate them to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, root-cause analysis, and Agile best practices.
• Support teams in adopting Agile principles, Scrum practices, and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple Scrum teams and support program-level delivery.
• Assist Product Owners and engineering leadership with release planning, roadmap execution, and prioritization.
• Ensure transparency of delivery status, risks, dependencies, and timelines across stakeholders.
• Help teams operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving AI technologies.
• Drive Agile transformation and improve team maturity, collaboration, ownership, and delivery predictability.

About the Role

Konverge.ai is looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master with 8+ years of overall experience to drive Agile delivery across technology and AI-focused product development teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Scrum, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, team leadership, and delivery governance, along with hands‑on exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, or AI-driven products/projects.

This role requires someone who can work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, AI/ML teams, Architects, and business stakeholders to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery while continuously improving team effectiveness and Agile maturity.

Key Responsibilities

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of overall professional experience, with significant experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead.
• Strong hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Mandatory exposure to AI/ML projects or AI-driven products.
• Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, AI platforms, or AI‑enabled applications will be highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, software engineering, product development, and Agile delivery.
• Proven experience managing multiple teams/projects or complex technology initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross‑functional technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum ceremonies, Agile principles, backlog management, sprint planning, release planning, and Agile metrics.
• Demonstrated experience in risk, dependency, issue, and impediment management.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

AI Exposure Mandatory

Candidates must have practical exposure to AI/ML initiatives, rather than only mentioning AI as a keyword.

• Certified Scrum Master such as CSM / PSM / SAFe Scrum Master.
• Experience working in AI, SaaS, product engineering, technology consulting, or digital product organizations.
• Experience managing distributed or globally located teams.
• Experience with SAFe, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, microservices, or modern software engineering practices.
• Experience supporting Agile transformation or process improvement initiatives.
