Job summary

Newpage Solutions is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support cross-functional teams in AI and Data Science initiatives. You will manage daily delivery mechanics, run Agile ceremonies, track impediments, and coordinate cross-team dependencies to ensure smooth, predictable delivery.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, technical leads, and stakeholders, driving sprint planning, backlog readiness, and delivery metrics while promoting a culture of continuous improvement in a remote

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
• Proven Scrum Master with cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum practices, sprint planning, backlog management, estimation, and metrics.
• Experience supporting AI/Data Science projects is preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Drive sprint execution and ensure teams remain aligned with sprint goals and commitments.
• Identify, track, and facilitate resolution of impediments and blockers.
• Manage cross‑team dependencies and coordinate with upstream and downstream teams.
• Work closely with Product Owners and technical leads to ensure backlog readiness and effective sprint planning.
• Track delivery progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
• Monitor Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, burndown, cycle time, and sprint predictability.
• Provide clear and timely delivery updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration across AI, Data Science, engineering, product, and business teams.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and follow‑up actions.
• Escalate unresolved blockers, dependencies, and delivery risks when required.

Your Mission

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support cross-functional teams working on AI and Data Science initiatives. What You Bring

• 7+ years of overall experience with strong hands‑on experience in Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Proven experience working as a Scrum Master with cross‑functional technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum practices, sprint planning, backlog management, estimation, and Agile metrics.
• Experience managing impediments, risks, issues, and cross‑team dependencies.
• Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or data‑driven projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of AI/Data Science delivery and experimentation‑driven development.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience working with distributed and globally located teams.
• Hands‑on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile delivery tools.
• Scrum/Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent is preferred.
