Job summary

Anthem Biosciences is seeking a Scientist for Biologicals R&D in Bommasandra. The role focuses on developing and optimizing microbial fermentation and downstream processes, operating lab-scale fermenters, and performing data analysis to support scale-up and tech transfer.

The candidate will prepare SOPs and documentation, assist in procurement of lab materials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance process development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in microbial fermentation, lab-scale fermentation, and downstream processing.
• 2-3 years of experience.
• MSc in Microbiology or Biotechnology required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize microbial fermentation and downstream processes
• Operate and handle lab-scale fermenters
• Design, plan and execute experiments and perform data analysis
• Support process scale-up and technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing scale
• Prepare SOPs, batch protocols and technical documentation

We’re Hiring | Scientist – Biologicals R&D We are looking for talented and motivated professionals to join our Biologicals R&D team at Anthem Biosciences and contribute to the development and optimization of microbial fermentation and downstream processes. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in microbial fermentation, lab-scale fermentation, and downstream processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize microbial fermentation and downstream processes
• Operate and handle lab-scale fermenters
• Design, plan and execute experiments and perform data analysis
• Support process scale-up and technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing scale
• Prepare SOPs, batch protocols and technical documentation
• Support procurement of lab chemicals, consumables and raw materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process development activities

Hands-on experience with lyophilizer, spray dryer & VTD is preferred. Candidates should be willing to work in shifts.
