Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for a Scala Developer with 6-9 years of experience to design and develop real-time streaming applications using Spark and Scala.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for batch data ingestion and processing, as well as integrating Spark with different data sources like Kafka, Oracle, and MongoDB. A basic knowledge of shell scripting for deployment is also required.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in software development, especially in Scala and Spark.
• Experience in designing and developing streaming applications.

Job Requirements

• Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting realtime streaming application using Spark & Scala.
• Design and develop batch data ingestion and processing application using spark and scala
• Able to consume and process different file types like json, csv, text.
• Able to integrate spark with different datasources like kafka, oracle, couchbase, mongo etc.,
• Able to create junit test cases and integrate java APIs into scala-spark
• Basic knowledge in shell scripting to manage deployment and test application in servers
