Job summary

Ecolab Global Services is seeking an experienced SCADA Architect/Engineer to design scalable AVEVA System Platform solutions and develop object-based architectures for robust data flows. You will configure InTouch HMIs, implement alarm strategies, and ensure reliable historian integration while coordinating with engineering and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience in AVEVA System Platform (Application Server, Galaxy Repository).
• Hands-on InTouch HMI experience (Modern / Classic).
• Experience with AVEVA Historian for data collection and reporting.
• Proven SCADA architecture and deployment expertise.
• Integration experience with Siemens and Rockwell PLCs.
• Solid knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
• SQL/database experience for data connectivity and reporting.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skillset.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable SCADA architectures and data flows using AVEVA System Platform.
• Develop object-based architecture, templates, and standards.
• Configure InTouch HMI applications and graphics per guidelines.
• Implement alarm management strategy and historian integration.
• Integrate SCADA with PLCs and ERP/MES systems.
• Lead project execution from design to commissioning and documentation.

Responsibilities

• System Design Architecture: Design scalable and maintainable SCADA architectures using AVEVA System Platform
• System Design Architecture: Develop object-based architecture, templates, and standards
• System Design Architecture: Define system topology, redundancy, and data flow
• Development Implementation: Configure InTouch HMI applications
• Development Implementation: Develop graphics aligned with ISA 101 guidelines
• Development Implementation: Implement alarm management strategy (priority, classification, suppression)
• Development Implementation: Configure AVEVA Historian for data collection, optimization, and reporting
• Development Implementation: Develop scripts (QuickScript / .NET) for automation logic
• Integration: Integrate SCADA with Siemens and Rockwell PLCs
• Integration: Configure communication through OPC, DA/UA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP
• Integration: Implement MES / ERP integration and database connectivity (SQL)
• Project Execution Leadership: Lead SCADA project execution from design to commissioning
• Project Execution Leadership: Coordinate with engineering, operations, and IT teams
• Project Execution Leadership: Ensure project timelines, quality, and documentation standards
• Support Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system issues (communication, data errors, performance)
