Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Data Information Intermediate Analyst with 4–8 years of analytics experience to deliver client-centric reporting and data-driven insights.

You will lead multiple analytical projects, collaborate with stakeholders across regions, and mentor junior analysts while ensuring high-quality dashboards and governance. This role emphasizes storytelling with data and impactful presentations to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/computer science/Statistics with 4+ years of experience.
• Ability to articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the management in a structured and simpler form.
• Demonstrate thought leadership to approach open ended problems and build solutions.
• Should be able to storyboard solutions – storytelling through data is a key qualification for this role.
• Must have hands-on experience in SAS, SQL & Python (good to have).
• Experience in Tableau or similar BI tool.
• Strong hold on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with large and multiple datasets, data warehouses and ability to pull data using relevant programs and coding.
• Experience in banking with good understanding of the PNL.
• Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client centric analytical and insightful reporting solutions to accelerate strategic decisioning for the business.
• Own and deliver multiple and complex analytical projects with understanding of business context and KPIs.
• Periodically review existing process and identify potential ways to streamline the process.
• Experience in stakeholder management across various functions and regions; communicate with partners independently.
• Create and deliver high quality presentations to share thoughts, solutions or problem statements to business stakeholders and senior management.
• Coach and mentor juniors and guide team members through analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable analytics insights.
• Ensure data governance, accuracy, and timely delivery of dashboards and reports.

• Drive Reporting Solutions & Insights: Relevant insights to the business that can accelerate strategic decisions effectively pointing towards early data trends and their drivers
• Business critical Dashboards: self-explanatory and detailed dashboards to review the portfolio health with the business leaders with analytical backing of particular trends of interest
• Assessing Campaign Impacts: Understand the campaign setup and through data exploration get the actual campaign performance in terms of P & L. Using the data put together a solution to optimize the marketing spends based on campaign performance.

As a Data Information Intermediate Analyst, we are seeking a 4-8 years experienced analytics candidate who should be able to perform below behaviors in their day to day role:

• Client Obsession through structured thinking – Lead client centric analytical and insightful reporting solutions to accelerate strategic decisioning for the business. Individual should be able to have a holistic view of multiple businesses and develop analytics solutions accordingly.

• Analytic Project Execution – Own and deliver multiple and complex analytical projects. This would require an understanding of business context, deeper understanding of the business critical KPIs along with their behavior and impact, identifying trends and patterns with data
• Process Efficacy/Automation: Periodically review existing process and identify potential ways to streamline the process

• Stakeholder Management: Experience in stakeholder management across various functions and regions and should be able to effectively handle partner communications independently.
• Articulation & Presentation Skills: Creating and delivering high class presentations to share the thoughts, the solutions or the problem statement to business stakeholders and senior management
• Ability to coach and mentor juniors.
