Job summary

Elabs Infotech in India is seeking an experienced SAS specialist to modernize large-scale SAS workloads for enterprise clients. You will assess and remediate SAS applications, migrate components, and optimise performance.

You will extract business rules, analyze data lineage, and support cloud and analytics transformation programmes, collaborating with architecture, business, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of hands-on SAS experience.
• Proven expertise in Base SAS, Macros, PROC SQL and SAS/ACCESS.
• Experience on large-scale SAS apps, data warehouses and reporting.
• Translate requirements into scalable SAS solutions.
• Python or Snowflake experience is a plus.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 8-12 years of hands-on experience
• Strong, production-grade expertise in SAS (Base SAS, Macros, PROC SQL, SAS/ACCESS, Data Step Programming, Analytics, ETL Development, Performance Tuning, etc.)
• Proven experience working on large-scale SAS applications, data warehouses, reporting, and analytical platforms
• Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate complex requirements into scalable SAS solutions
• Experience in code analysis, business rule extraction, data lineage, and SAS modernisation initiatives
• Added Advantage: Experience with Python, Snowflake, or other modern cloud data platforms
• Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to understand and transform legacy processes into governed data assets
