Job summary

LTM is seeking an experienced SAP S4HANA Vertex Integration Specialist to support Vertex tax engine integrations across multiple regions including USA, Israel, APAC, and EMEA. The role focuses on managing Vertex developments in S4HANA, configuring Vertex Cloud Connector, and BAU operations across global entities.

Responsibilities include ensuring data synchronization, handling tax determination logic, and collaborating with SAP and Vertex teams to meet country-specific tax requirements.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in SAP S4HANA with hands-on Vertex integration.
• Experience with on-premise or Cloud Vertex integrations.
• Strong understanding of FI/SD and MM tax determination processes.
• Proficient in ABAP-based enhancements and Vertex namespace developments.
• Experience with cloud integration scenarios (RFC, CPI, BTP).
• Familiarity with Vertex O Series and Vertex Cloud Connector.

• VertexSAP Integration Management: Manage end-to-end Vertex tax engine integration within SAP S4HANA for global entities.
• Configure Vertex Cloud Connector for communication between S4HANA and Vertex Cloud.
• Ensure connectivity and data synchronization between SAP FIS/DM modules and Vertex.
• Oversee tax determination jurisdiction codes and tax calculation logic for multiple geographies.
• Troubleshoot integration errors and perform root-cause analysis for real-time and batch tax postings.

We are seeking an experienced SAP S4HANA Vertex Integration Specialist to support and enhance Vertex tax engine integrations across multiple global regions including the USA Israel APAC and EMEA The role involves managing VERTEX space developments in S4HANA Vertex Cloud Solution configuration browserbased tax solution integration and BusinessAsUsual BAU operational support

Key Responsibilities

• 1)VertexSAP Integration Management
  Manage and support endtoend Vertex tax engine integration within SAP S4HANA for global entities
  Configure and maintain Vertex Cloud Connector for communication between S4HANA and Vertex Cloud
  Ensure seamless connectivity and data synchronization between SAP FISDMM modules and Vertex
  Oversee tax determination jurisdiction codes and tax calculation logic for multiple geographies US Israel APAC EMEA
  Troubleshoot integration errors and perform rootcause analysis for realtime and batch tax postings
• 2) VERTEX Space Developments
  Design develop and maintain custom objects under the VERTEX namespace in S4HANA to enhance Vertex integration functionalities
  Implement ABAPbased enhancements BADIs and user exits to meet countryspecific and businessspecific tax requirements
  Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure customizations align with Vertexs standard API and Cloud architecture
  Conduct technical code reviews performance tuning and system documentation for all VERTEX developments
• 3) Vertex Cloud Solution BrowserBased Features
  Support Vertex Cloud Solution setup configuration and ongoing maintenance
  Manage browserbased user interfaces for Vertex administration monitoring and reporting
  Coordinate with Vertex support for upgrades patch deployments and environment refreshes
  Ensure compliance with tax rules updates and manage Vertex content updates across regions
• 4) BusinessAsUsual BAU Operations
  Provide daytoday support for SAPVertex integrations including incident resolution change requests and performance monitoring
  Maintain issue logs perform periodic reconciliations and ensure SLA adherence
  Participate in regression testing for S4HANA upgrades Vertex patch releases and crossmodule changes
  Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for end users and support teams
• 5) CrossFunctional Collaboration
  Work closely with Finance Tax and IT teams to capture business requirements and translate them into system configurations
  Coordinate with SAP Basis and Security teams for connectivity certificates and access management related to Vertex Cloud
  Partner with Vertex Support and SAP OSS for technical escalations and resolution of complex issues

Required Skills and Experience

• 10 years of experience in SAP S4HANA with handson expertise in Vertex integration Onpremise or Cloud
  Strong understanding of SAP FI SD and MM tax determination processes
  Proven experience in VERTEX namespace developments using ABAP
  Good exposure to Cloud integration BTP API RFC or CPIbased scenarios
  Familiarity with Vertex O Series Vertex Cloud Connector and browserbased management console
  Experience supporting multicountry tax solutions and managing complex regional tax configurations
  Excellent problemsolving debugging and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S4HANA Cloud Public or Private Edition environments
  Exposure to integration testing using Tricentis Tosca or SAP Test Automation tools
  Knowledge of SAP Transport Management Solution Manager or Cloud ALM for deployment
  Vertex Certification preferred but not mandatory
