Job summary

Capgemini Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP VC/AVC consultant to lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts and support. The role demands deep VC/AVC expertise, strong collaboration with business stakeholders, and the ability to design scalable configuration solutions.

You will design and maintain characteristics, classes, dependencies, and BOMs, work with SD, PP, MM, and PLM, and drive workshops and user acceptance testing with customers across global deployments.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of SAP experience with VC in S/4HANA implementations.
• Experience in configuration modeling, object dependencies, and super BOMs.
• Strong communication and workshops facilitation with business stakeholders.

Job Description:

Your Role

• Lead and deliver SAP Variant Configuration (VC/AVC) solutions across end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, and support projects.
• Design, configure, and maintain characteristics, classes, dependencies, configurable materials, BOMs, routings, and pricing integration.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and provide scalable configuration solutions aligned with business processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including SD, PP, MM, and PLM to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery.

Your Profile

• 6 to 12 years of overall SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP Variant Configuration (VC) and hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Proven experience in configuration modeling, object dependencies, super BOMs, super routings, and integration with SD, PP, and MM processes.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineer-to-order (ETO), configure-to-order (CTO), or make-to-order (MTO) business scenarios.
• Excellent analytical, client-facing, and communication skills with the ability to drive workshops, solution design discussions, and user acceptance testing.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) in S/4HANA.
• Exposure to SAP CPQ, PLM, or Product Configuration processes.
• Knowledge of Agile project methodologies and SAP Activate framework.
• Experience in global implementation and rollout projects.
