Job summary

Shashwath Solution seeks an experienced ABAP technical consultant with FICO domain understanding to translate finance requirements into robust SAP solutions. You will engage with Finance users, design technical solutions, and guide development teams through data migration, RFC/IDOC integrations and R/3 implementations.

Strong communication, multitasking, and OO programming skills are essential to deliver scalable, well-documented modules on time.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of ABAP experience with handling of FICO business requirements.
• Strong communication skills with finance users.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects.
• Strong object orientation experience.
• Proficiency in system analysis, design, development and implementation.
• Expert in implementation of SAP R/3 environment.
• Extensive knowledge of ABAP workbench, Data Dictionary, ALV reports, Dialog Programming, OO programming.
• Extensive knowledge in SAP Scripts, Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
• Experience in Data Migration, Data Uploads using BDC and LSMW.
• Expert in RFC, IDOCs handling, BDC.

Responsibilities

• Discuss with Finance department users, understand requirements and guide the technical team.
• Act as the technical expert to deliver applications with quick turnarounds.
• Develop detailed plans and estimates for development, testing and implementation.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications to code and debug.
• Develop, test, document and execute unit, system, integration and acceptance tests.
• Perform performance tuning to optimize multiple functions.
• Ensure architecture scalability, availability and archival meet SLAs.
• Manage operational support and on-call duties as required.
• Handle client tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare business documents, technical specifications and testing documents.
• Prepare testing scenarios and manage transport requests using Solman.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Discuss with Finance department users, understand and gather the requirement, discuss with create Business requirement document, guide the technical team and deliver the required application
• Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying applicationissues and providing timely solutions.
• Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of development, systemtesting and implementation phases of project.
• Transform business function requirements into technical program specifications to code, test and debug programs
• Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration andacceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
• Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions
• Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technicalarchitecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's.
• Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as wellas providing on call support as required by the team.
• Handling the tickets issues from Client and complete in desired timeline to ensure Client satisfaction
• Prepare understanding of business document , technical specification and testing document for the development
• Testing scenario document preparation
• Handling of Transport request for the deployment of the objects developed through the tools like Solman(Solution Manager).
