Job summary

Shashwath Solution in India is seeking an experienced ABAP technical consultant with strong FICO domain understanding to translate Finance requirements into robust SAP solutions.

Candidates should have 7-12 years of ABAP experience, with deep ABAP Workbench, ALV reporting, and SAP Forms (Smart/Adobe) proficiency. Data migration skills (LSMW/BDC/IDOC) and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Around 7-12 years of ABAP experience with Finance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench and development tools.
• Experience in converting Finance requirements into SAP solutions.
• Proficient in SAP ABAP reports (ALV) and forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms).
• Experience with data migration using LSMW/BDC/IDOC.
• Good communication and ability to coordinate with Finance users.

Responsibilities

• Discuss requirements with Finance users and translate into BRD; guide technical team.
• Serve as technical expert to quickly identify issues and provide solutions.
• Develop plans and estimates for development, testing and implementation.
• Transform business needs into technical specs; code, test and debug.
• Create unit/integration/acceptance tests and testing tools for complex functions.
• Tune performance across multiple functions to meet SLA.
• Support operations during change windows and provide on-call support.
• Handle client tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Produce business documents, technical specs and testing docs.
• Prepare testing scenarios and manage transport requests via Solman.

Desired Skills and experience

• Around 7 - 12 years of ABAP experience with handling of FICO business related requirements and able to understand and communicate with Finance business usersABAP 60% and FICO functional 40% weightage handling

Roles and Responsibilities

• Discuss with Finance department users, understand and gather the requirement, discuss with create Business requirement document, guide the technical team and deliver the required application
• Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying applicationissues and providing timely solutions.
• Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of development, systemtesting and implementation phases of project.
• Transform business function requirements into technical program specifications to code, test and debug programs
• Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration andacceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
• Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions
• Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technicalarchitecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's.
• Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as wellas providing on call support as required by the team.
• Handling the tickets issues from Client and complete in desired timeline to ensure Client satisfaction
• Prepare understanding of business document , technical specification and testing document for the development
• Testing scenario document preparation
• Handling of Transport request for the deployment of the objects developed through the tools like Solman(Solution Manager).
