Job summary

Maersk is seeking an SAP E invoicing Engineer to design, configure and deploy E invoicing solutions in SAP S/4HANA for global finance and tax transformation. You will work across tax regulatory projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, scalable implementations.

The role involves hands-on development, data conversion, testing, and production support within an agile DevOps environment, with a focus on international tax processes and bridging finance with technology.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working as SAP E invoicing Engineer.
• Hands on experience in SAP S4Hana, E Document compliance module as functional consultant/engineer.
• Experience in SAFT solution implementation would be a plus.
• Experience with Indirect Tax derivation drivers.
• Experience of working with SAP BRIM, convergent invoicing is a plus.
• Experience in implementing large and complex SAP Projects, solution build, configuration and delivery to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement SAP E invoicing solution design in SAP S4 using E document compliance module, build, configuration, development, testing, data conversion, cutover, production deployments across Maersk business units.
• Operate in DevOps model, design, build, test, and support the solutions.
• Collaborate with ATR, OTC, PTP, ABAP, Interface, Basis, Infrastructure, cloud security, cyber security teams for finance & tax platform.
• Own E Invoicing developments for all tax compliance changes in Ocean and Logistics in SAP S4Hana solutions.
• Develop E invoicing interface solutions with interface engineers and government validators or SAP EDoc module.
• Work in an agile environment with product owners, architects, SAP developers/engineers and scrum master.

SAP engineering team owns solution template, design, configuration, development, testing and deployment of the SAP solution in Maersk Ocean & Logistics. We are hiring SAP engineers in order to achieve the ambition of design, developed and supported by Maersk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Implementation of SAP E invoicing solution design in SAP S4 using E document compliance module, build, configuration, development, testing, data conversion, cutover, production deployments across Maersk business units. Operate in DevOps model, design, build, test, and support the solutions.




• Technology delivery partner with Maersk ATR, OTC, PTP, ABAP, Interface, Basis, Infrastructure, cloud security, cyber security teams for finance & tax platform and particularly Tax regulatory workstream




• Key member in Tax workstream, Owning E Invoicing developments for all tax compliance changes in Ocean and Logistics in SAP S4Hana solutions.




• Hands on solution design and build/configuration of SAP BRIM Convergent invoicing integration with E document compliance module.




• Hands on in developing E invoicing Interface solution together with Interface engineer, with Govt approved validator vendors and/or direct SAP EDoc module, SAP cloud platform interface with Tax authority portals.




• Work in an agile environment with product owners, architects, SAP developers/engineers and scrum master in executing on prioritized backlog




• Ensuring on-time delivery of solution by removing bottlenecks using expertise skills




• High quality of solution delivery ensuring design is followed during build and support




• Compliance to Enterprise architecture, global template guidelines and product roadmap




• Manage and follow product backlog, including prioritization of needs, creation of backlog items and mapping out dependencies in collaboration with users and customers




• Work closely with other Platform teams in Agile way of working; contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint and work with the team to refine and improve the development process.




• Evaluating product progress accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product. Inspect and evaluate product progress at each iteration, determine whether final product is acceptable. Performance of product in general, includes example value delivery, user satisfaction, performance of the support process, compliance, cost, stability of the product and deployment/roll-out performance.




• To be successful, you need to ensure deliverables match needs of stakeholders




• Ensure solution stays standard as much possible & promote reuse of existing functionalities

Who we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience working as SAP E invoicing Engineer.




• Hands on experience in SAP S4Hana, E Document compliance module as functional consultant/engineer




• Experience in SAFT solution implementation would be a plus

• Experience in working with finance business process owners in understanding business requirement, analysis, prototyping of solutions, configuration and design




• Experience in writing functional specifications for WRICEFs




• Candidate must be open towards working in DevOps Environment




• Experience in working with Agile, Scrum and waterfall delivery models




• Good problem solving, analytical & communication skills. Ability to work in demanding situations

• Flexibility to work on different time-zones




• Prior experience of working for shipping and logistics industry is a plus




• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or IT related discipline
