Job summary

Gore in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced SAP Solution Architect for Supply Chain Planning to lead design, architecture, and transformation of integrated planning across SAP solutions.

You will partner with business and technology teams to deliver scalable planning capabilities that enhance forecast accuracy, inventory management, production scheduling, and customer fulfillment in a global manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Business or related field.
• 10+ years of experience delivering SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions.
• 5+ years in a Solution Architect or architecture leadership role.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in SAP PP, IBP and PP/DS/ePP/DS.
• SAP S/4HANA transformation/implementation leadership in manufacturing contexts.
• Experience delivering end-to-end demand, supply, inventory, and scheduling processes.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect - Supply Chain Planning to join our Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead the design, architecture, and transformation of integrated planning capabilities across SAP supply chain planning solutions. You will partner with business and technology teams within our Operating Companies to deliver scalable planning capabilities that improve forecast accuracy, inventory performance, production scheduling, and customer fulfillment. This role provides the opportunity to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and shape the future of supply chain planning within a global manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate is a strategic planning and supply chain transformation leader who understands how customer demand, fulfillment commitments, inventory positioning, supply planning, and manufacturing execution operate as an interconnected system. They possess deep expertise in SAP IBP and PP/DS (ePP/DS) and leverage AI, automation, and modern digital capabilities to integrate planning processes with Order-to-Cash capabilities, enabling the organization to make better decisions from Demand Signal -> Supply Response -> Production Execution -> Customer Delivery.

• Design integrated planning capabilities spanning demand, supply, inventory, production, and fulfillment processes.
• Lead planning transformation initiatives that improve operational performance and business agility.
• Drive architecture governance and Clean Core adoption across SAP solutions and integrated planning systems.
• Partner with commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, and technology teams to align planning and fulfillment objectives.
• Define planning data, analytics, and decision-support capabilities that enable effective business planning.
• Leverage AI, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics to improve business outcomes, decision-making, solution quality, and delivery performance.
• Provide technical leadership for SAP S/4HANA implementation, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Lead and mentor delivery teams and guide architecture decisions using industry best practices and AI-assisted engineering approaches.

Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience delivering SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect or comparable architecture leadership role.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in SAP Production Planning (PP), SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)/(ePP/DS).
• Program leadership in SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation programs within manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated delivery of demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and production scheduling processes.
• Demonstrated experience architecting end-to-end business processes spanning Demand Signal -> Supply Response -> Production Execution -> Customer Delivery.
• Application of AI, automation, advanced analytics, or generative AI capabilities to improve business performance, engineering productivity, and solution delivery outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

• Exposure to customer fulfillment, order management, and planning integration processes using ATP.
• Exposure to SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and logistics operations.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), advanced analytics, or AI-enabled planning capabilities.
