Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited is seeking an experienced SAP SD Lead Consultant with 12 to 15 years of expertise to drive global OTC transformations and SAP S/4HANA migrations from Pune. The role emphasizes leadership in template design, governance, and multi-country rollouts, with a strong focus on AMS and high-quality delivery.

You will collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, mentor junior teams, and lead critical cutover and go-live activities while ensuring SLA/KPI

Qualifications

• 12 to 15 years of SAP SD consulting experience.
• Expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC), Advanced Pricing, Rebate Processing, Settlement Management, Credit Management, Returns Management, Logistics Execution, Customer Fulfillment
• ECC and SAP S/4HANA experience; S/4HANA migrations and global rollouts
• Experience leading AMS and production support engagements
• Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to lead functional workstreams and mentoring of junior consultants

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement discovery workshops with business stakeholders.

• Manage cutover planning, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization.

• Lead SAP SD application support and AMS engagements.
• Govern Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management; drive SLA/KPI governance.
• Manage critical business incidents and escalation handling.
• Conduct service review meetings and governance reviews.
• Drive continuous service improvement and process optimization.
• Lead end-to-end OTC solution design and implementation.
• Configure Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Rebate, Settlement, Credit, Returns.
• Manage Intercompany and Cross-Company processes.
• Oversee Logistics Execution and multi-country rollouts.
• Identify automation opportunities and business transformation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations teams.
• Present recommendations and transformation roadmaps to leadership.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end sales and distribution business processes.
• Extensive experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience in S/4HANA Implementations, S/4HANA Migrations, Global Rollouts, Business Process Transformation, SAP Activate Methodology
• Minimum 3+ end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Experience leading AMS and production support engagements.
• Strong expertise in Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, SLA Governance, KPI Monitoring
• Experience managing critical business escalations and service reviews.
• Experience leading functional workstreams and consulting teams.
• Strong client-facing consulting experience.
