Job summary

Aarti Industries in Mumbai is seeking an SAP SD specialist to support Operations, focusing on Order to Cash and STO processes within SAP. The role involves coordinating with business users in Sales & Distribution, Logistics, Dispatch, Billing, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth SAP functionality.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on SAP Sales modules experience, knowledge of process industry requirements, and a track record of delivering user manuals and trainings to core teams and end users.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SAP environments with hands-on experience in SAP Sales modules.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP SD modules for operations.
• Possess knowledge in SAP process industry in sales, distribution, supply chain and data maintenance.
• Gather requirements, explain to IT vendor, ensure right methods, perform UT, obtain UAT sign-off before PROD deployment.
• Investigate incidents by reviewing tickets from L0/L1, replicate errors using SOPs to resolve.
• Identify tickets related to SD and assign to L2/L3 support queues.
• Ensure project documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date.
• Be first point of contact for system-related issues highlighted by end users.
• Experience in SAP support in Chemical or Pharma industry is advantageous.
• Interact with business users in Sales & Distribution (Logistics, Dispatch, Billing, Manufacturing).
• Conduct trainings and prepare user manuals.

Job description

1. 1. The primary role is to support the SAP SD Modules that support the operations. The candidate must possess a clear understanding of the SAP Environments and hands on as core team/ end user in SAP Sales modules.
2. 2. Skill set includes extensive knowledge in SAP Process Industry in Sales, distribution, supply chain and data maintenance.
3. 3. Independently can do the requirement gatering, explaing the requireemnt to IT Vendor, ensure to implement right methods, perform UT, get the UAT signed off with the relevant stakeholders before further deployment in the PROD environment.
4. 4. Incident Investigation: Reviewing the ticket from L0,L1 and replicating the user's error in the system. Using a Knowledge Base and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to solve common problems.
5. 5. Identifiying Tickets specific to SD and Correctly assigning the ticket to the L2,L3 Support queue.
6. 6. Ensuring that the required project related documentation is comprehensive and updated at all times.
7. 7. Being the first point of contact for any system related issues which are highlighted by the end users.
8. 8. Good to have SAP Support experience either in Chemical or Pharma industry.
9. 9. Responsibe to interact with the business users in the area Sales & Distribution (Logistics from FG Stores in Dispatch locations and Billing to customers, manufacturing (FG Warehouse). Primarily responsible for Order to Cash cycle and STO process within SAP.
