Job summary

Planning Partners is seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant to support AMS engagements for global manufacturing clients. You will handle L2/L3 production support, incident management, and continuous improvement in an ITIL/SLA-driven environment.

The role requires strong SAP PP/QM expertise, experience with PP/QM integration with MM and other modules, and collaboration with global business users across regions. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–13 Years total SAP experience with at least 6+ years in SAP PP/QM.
• Experience with L2/L3 production support in AMS engagements.
• Experience in ITIL and SLA-based delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP PP and QM modules.
• Resolve incidents, service requests, and defects within defined SLAs.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
• Handle minor enhancements and configuration changes in PP/QM.
• Prepare Functional Specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams.
• Support transport management and release cycles.
• Act as the functional SPOC for PP/QM AMS support.
• Interact with business users across US, EU, and APAC regions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
• Maintain ticket documentation, SOPs, KT documents, and knowledge base.
• Support PP/QM integration with MM, SD, and FI/CO.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and SAP QM.
• Experience with MRP, BOM, Work Centers, Production/Process Orders, Capacity Planning and Confirmations.
• Strong knowledge of QM Inspection Types, Quality Notifications, Results Recording and Usage Decision.
• Experience with PP/QM integration with MM and other SAP modules.
• 6+ years of relevant SAP PP/QM experience.
• Experience in AMS / Production Support.
• Experience working in ITIL and SLA-based delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, or JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PP/QM.
• Manufacturing domain experience, including discrete or process industries.
• Client-facing experience.
• SAP PP or QM certification is an added advantage.

Immediate joiners preferred.
