Job description

We are looking for a talented Functional Consultant with SAP SD expertise with demonstrable experience of working on full life cycle S/4 HANA projects and the ability to engage with clients and internal stakeholders in a professional and consultative manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise across Supply Chain supporting the project team towards a successful go‑live working with new and existing SAP solutions.
• Liaise with clients in the provision of full life-cycle project implementation consulting expertise including assessments, blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, cut‑over and go-live stabilisation.
• Prepare and facilitate assessment/blueprint workshops to analyse clients’ business requirements and embed business processes and standard SAP best practices into the SAP Blueprint.
• Write functional mapping, functional gap analysis, detailed blueprint design and process documentation, and detailed functional specifications for any custom development, including integration points with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, APO, FI/CO and GTS.
• Prepare summary level presentations and facilitate future and emerging state system design and process workshops to obtain client acceptance.
• Build long lasting quality relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives and actively pursue opportunities to help protect and enhance the brand.
• Provide strong exposure of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and OTC (Order to Cash).
• Handle RF scanning and on‑site peripheral equipment such as printers and mobile devices.
• Ensure integration with Sales and Distribution.
• Understand business issues, pain points and challenges of the organisation.
• Ensure clients receive exceptional service and quality.
• Conduct presentations to all requisite audiences.
• Provide strong customer‑facing experience and support ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 training and implementation.
• Strive to be aware of processes and procedures to fulfil and adhere to ISO requirements.
• Report, monitor measurement, non‑conformity and corrective action with respect to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

Skills and Qualifications

• SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Functional Consultant with 4+ years of hands‑on experience in implementation and support projects.
• Experience working on end‑to‑end SAP SD and OTC implementation cycles, along with post‑go‑live support.
• Involved in at least two full‑cycle SD/OTC implementations.
• Exposure to S/4HANA implementations, including configuration and support activities.
• Experience supporting supply chain‑related SD processes, providing functional troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Worked on integrations with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, APO, FI/CO, and GTS.
• Hands‑on experience across project phases including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Experience with billing and account receivable, shipping, tax determination, partner determination, output determination and return process in SAP S4 HANA and SAP ECC environments.
• Exposure to interface development (EDI/IDoc).
• Knowledge of best practices in function – reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Experience assisting clients in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP functionality.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
• Driven and enthusiastic, commercially aware, strong leadership qualities and team‑leader experience.

Interview Process at AG

• Round 1: HR Interview – to identify/cross check professional and personal details.
• Round 2: Technical Round – to gauge the technical expertise of the candidate.
• Round 3: Director rendezvous – Directors confirm if the candidate is a good fit for AG.
• Candidate will be asked to complete AG’s Application of Employment Form post successful completion of Round 1.
