Job summary

Resillion seeks an experienced SAP S/4HANA Automation Engineer in Bengaluru (Hybrid) to design, develop, and maintain automation for SAP S/4HANA applications. You will work closely with SAP functional and QA teams to ensure reliable, scalable test automation and CI/CD integration.

The role requires 6-8 years of software testing experience, strong Python skills, and a solid understanding of SAP processes and test frameworks.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of software testing and automation experience.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA testing and BP validation.
• Proven Python-based automation development.
• Experience building automation frameworks for enterprise apps.
• Strong SAP module knowledge and end-to-end processes.
• API, integration, and regression automation experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated test execution.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Automation Engineer with 6-8 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for SAP S/4HANA applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP business processes, test automation frameworks, and Python development. This role requires a hands-on automation professional who can work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and quality engineering teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of SAP solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to automation strategy, test execution, CI/CD integration, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for SAP S/4HANA applications.
• Design and enhance test automation frameworks using Python.
• Collaborate with SAP functional, development, and business teams to understand requirements and automate test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Analyse defects, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause investigations.
• Contribute to automation best practices, framework improvements, and quality initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-8 years of overall software testing and automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA testing and business process validation.
• Proven experience developing automation solutions using Python.
• Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and end-to-end business processes.
• Experience with API testing, integration testing, and regression automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated test execution processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SAP test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, UiPath, or similar platforms.
• Experience testing SAP Fiori applications.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of performance and integration testing within SAP landscapes.
• Relevant SAP, automation, or testing certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
