Job summary

Signify in Bengaluru, India, seeks a SAP S2P (Jaggaer) Functional Engineer to support and optimize procurement processes in a post go-live environment. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure stable, compliant operations across S2P, Jaggaer, and SAP S/4HANA.

The role requires hands-on experience with Jaggaer and SAP MM/S2P, strong stakeholder management, and knowledge of global template deployment. A degree in engineering/IT/SCM is preferred, with Agile/Scrum experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, SCM or related field
• Hands-on Jaggaer and SAP MM/S2P implementation/support experience
• Strong understanding of S2P processes: Catalog, Sourcing, Supplier Performance, e-Invoicing
• Experience in global AMS/production support with stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in incident resolution, problem management, testing, and delivering supported solutions
• Experience supporting high-volume procurement operations and vendor communications
• Knowledge of Jaggaer–SAP S/4HANA integrations and adjacent domains
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and service management practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Jaggaer or SAP certification is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end functional support for S2P processes including sourcing, contracts, supplier management, requisitioning, PO management, and invoicing
• Maintain SAP S2P/Jaggaer solutions aligned to global template and local deployments
• Handle incident management, service requests, defect resolution within agreed SLAs
• Conduct impact analysis and testing for changes and enhancements
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Reporting domains
• Monitor system performance and user feedback to ensure stable procurement operations
• Support critical procurement cycles like supplier onboarding and period-end accruals
• Provide user guidance and knowledge sharing to enable operational effectiveness

More about the role

Signify is amid the design, build and deployment of a global greenfield S/4HANA solution. To support the deployment and ensure stable operations and continuous optimization, we are establishing a global application maintenance organization.

The SAP S2P (Jaggaer) Functional Engineer is responsible operational support in S/4 HANA deployments and supporting and optimizing Jaggaer solutions and SAP S2P in a post go-live application maintenance environment. Collaborates within a global team and works closely with business stakeholders, partners and cross‑functional teams to ensure stable, compliant and efficient procurement processes. The role focuses on functional support, issue resolution, system stability and operational effectiveness.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Support Procurement Business Process Owners, key users and project teams in maintaining SAP S2P and Jaggaer solutions aligned to the global template and deploying the global S/4 HANA implementation on a local level.
• Provide functional support across core Source-to-Pay processes including Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Requisitioning, Purchase Order management, and Invoice Processing.
• Provide end-to-end functional support in an AMS environment including incident management, service requests, defect resolution and root cause analysis in line with agreed service levels.
• Conduct impact analysis and testing to support quality delivery of changes and enhancements.
• Support S2P processes with strong integration across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Reporting domains.
• Monitor system performance, operational issues and user feedback to ensure stable and efficient day‑to‑day procurement operations.
• Support critical procurement cycles including supplier on‑boarding, contract renewals, and period‑end accruals, ensuring continuity and timely issue resolution.
• Provide user support, functional guidance and knowledge sharing to enable consistent adoption and operational effectiveness.

Critical Experiences and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in Jaggaer and in SAP MM / S2P implementation and/or support.
• Strong functional understanding of S2P processes including Catalog Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Performance Management, and e‑Invoicing.
• Experience working in a global application maintenance support or production support environment including stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience in system enhancements, incident resolution, problem management, testing and delivery of supportable business solutions.
• Experience supporting critical procurement operations including high‑volume transaction processing and vendor communication.
• Good understanding of integration points between Jaggaer and SAP S/4HANA, as well as adjacent business domains.
• Good understanding of Agile / Scrum ways of working and service management practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Jaggaer or SAP certification in relevant modules is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, complex and highly integrated business environment.
