Job summary

Bayer is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Lead Developer to drive hands-on development and technical leadership in Bangalore, India. You will translate architectural designs into scalable solutions using ABAP, CDS Views, RAP and Fiori/UI5, mentoring a 3–8 person team.

Focus on Clean Core, side-by-side extensibility, and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery. You will champion CI/CD and DevOps, stay current with SAP innovations, and provide expert Level 3 support when needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP development with a focus on SAP S/4HANA.
• Expert ABAP skills (ABAP OO, CDS, RAP, AMDP, BAdIs).
• “Experience leading development teams (3–8 developers) in agile delivery.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP extension scenarios and S/4HANA architecture.
• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools and SAP Business AI offerings.
• SAP certification in S/4HANA development is preferred.

Responsibilities
