Job summary

Prowess Publishing is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PS Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Project-to-Control (PTC) processes and AMS/support engagements. The role focuses on functional support, incident resolution, enhancements, configuration, and ongoing optimization of SAP PS processes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PS.
• Deep knowledge of Project-to-Control (PTC) processes.
• Experience with WBS, Networks, Activities, and Project Planning.
• Experience in Project Cost Planning, Budgeting, Cost Allocation and Settlement.
• AMS experience with Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Knowledge of PS integration with FI/CO, MM and SD.
• Experience in production support, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 functional support for SAP S/4HANA Project Systems.
• Handle incidents, service requests, defects, and change requests within defined SLAs.
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for PS issues.
• Support complete project lifecycle processes including Project Definition, WBS, Networks, Activities, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Allocation and Settlement.
• Support project cost tracking, controlling, reporting, and period/month-end closing activities.
• Work on Project-to-Control (PTC) processes and project accounting.
• Support integration with SAP FI/CO, MM and SD for project procurement, cost postings, settlement, billing, and revenue-related processes.
• Analyze requirements, recommend solutions, and configure SAP PS accordingly.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements.
• Participate in testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT and UAT.
• Support S/4HANA upgrades, enhancements, process improvements, and production stabilization.
• Work closely with business users, project managers, and global delivery teams.
• Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and solution documentation.

Mandatory Skills

• Good understanding of Project-to-Control (PTC) processes.
• Strong knowledge of WBS, Networks, Activities, Project Structures and Project Planning.
• Experience with Project Cost Planning, Budgeting, Cost Allocation and Settlement.
• Strong AMS experience involving Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Good understanding of PS integration with FI/CO, MM and SD.
• Experience in production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

Good to Have

• S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.
• Knowledge of Project Billing and Revenue Recognition.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori for Project Systems.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira or other ITSM tools.
• ITIL/AMS process knowledge.
• Experience working with global onshore/offshore teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
