Kyndryl is seeking an experienced SAP Architect to provide end-to-end technical coverage for SAP platforms, including system administration, migrations, and cloud adoption. You will lead RISE with SAP and S/4HANA Cloud projects, design integrations via SAP BTP, and mentor the team across SAP technologies.

You will collaborate with SAP functional teams, drive integration strategies, and ensure best practices and security standards are followed. A hybrid work model is available.

The Role

The role will provide end-to-end technical coverage for SAP platforms, including system administration, installations/upgrades, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, transport/change management, scheduling, cloud infrastructure, and operational automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis and a good understanding of modern SAP cloud technologies and enterprise scheduling/change-management tools.

What You Will Do

• Lead and support RISE with SAP / SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation and migration projects.
• Define and implement SAP cloud adoption and transformation strategies aligned with business requirements.
• Provide technical expertise across SAP BTP services and capabilities.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP S/4HANA and SAP/non-SAP applications using SAP BTP.
• Work with SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and related integration capabilities.
• Support SAP Extension Suite / side-by-side extensibility using SAP BTP.
• Evaluate existing SAP customizations and identify opportunities for clean-core adoption.
• Support SAP S/4HANA migration, system integration, technical architecture, and cloud adoption activities.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define integration architecture, interfaces, APIs, data flows, and security requirements.
• Work with SAP Cloud Connector, identity and access management, and connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments.
• Participate in architecture reviews, solution design, technical estimations, and project planning.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP integration, connectivity, and cloud-platform issues.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, security standards, development guidelines, and clean-core principles.
• Coordinate with SAP, implementation partners, and other technology teams during project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior SAP team members.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

• 8+ years of overall SAP experience with significant experience in SAP technical/solution architecture.
• Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP and SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation/migration programs.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP BTP and its key services.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI (Cloud Integration).
• Experience with API Management, SAP Cloud Connector, and SAP connectivity concepts.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and clean-core principles.
• Experience designing integrations between SAP and third-party applications.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OData, SOAP, JSON/XML, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with SAP security, authentication, authorization, and identity concepts.
• Understanding of SAP cloud architecture and hyperscaler environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of SAP implementation and support methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• SAP BTP certification(s).
• SAP S/4HANA certification.
• Experience with SAP Build, SAP Extension Suite, SAP Event Mesh, or other BTP services.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Knowledge of ABAP on BTP / ABAP Cloud.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and modern SAP development practices.
• Experience working with SAP Activate methodology.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and automated deployment practices.
• Experience with SAP Business Network or other SAP cloud solutions.
• Experience working on large-scale global SAP transformation programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• SAP certifications in S/4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite, or related technologies are preferred.
