Job summary

EY in India is seeking a SAP Retail Manager to lead large‑scale SAP Retail and S/4HANA implementations across fashion and retail clients. The role requires hands‑on delivery, pre‑sales input, and strong stakeholder management.

You will guide project life cycles, ensure integration with POS and e‑commerce, and help align SAP solutions with business goals while working with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of work experience in SAP Retail or related retail consulting services engagements, out of which at least 10 years progressive related IT work experience in the Retail/fashion industry.
• Hands‑on experience in all areas of SAP S/4 HANA Retail Solution, SAP CAR -POSDTA and any consuming SAP CAR applications. SAP Certification in one or more modules is desired.
• Extensive SAP experience with core business processes of SAP Retail and Fashion, plus consuming apps for SAP CAR and SAP FNR Solutions.
• Support for pre‑sales engagements, including preparing and delivering customer presentations; phase‑0 assessments also mentioned.
• Hands‑on, results‑oriented mindset with end‑to‑end delivery under pressure; ability to define priorities and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery to the executive team.
• Strong integration experience with POS and e‑Commerce applications.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate successful SAP implementation and use.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss business needs and recommend technology solutions.
• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for new solutions or enhancements.
• Maintain comprehensive SAP background across Retail and Fashion solutions and SAP CAR/FNR consuming apps.

Job Description

8+ years of experience as in SAP Retail or related retail consulting services engagements or business settings, implementing or using Retail business processes and systems is required.

• Extensive SAP Retail design and implementation experience, having successfully executed multiple SAP Retail full life cycle implementation projects.
• Should have hands‑on experience working in all areas of SAP S/4 HANA Retail Solution, SAP CAR -POSDTA and anyone consuming application of SAP CAR.
• Should have supported pre‑sales engagements, including preparing and delivering customer presentations.
• Applying business knowledge to ensure that SAP solutions are aligned with organisational goals
• Manage all aspects of the Project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery to the executive team.
• Should have Strong integration experience with POS and e‑Commerce applications
• Coordinating with other departments within the organisation to facilitate successful implementation and use of SAP solutions
• Participating in meetings with clients to discuss business needs and come up with recommendations for technology solutions that meet those needs
• Monitoring industry trends to identify opportunities for new solutions or enhancements to existing solutions.
• Comprehensive SAP background across various Retail and Fashion solutions and high‑level understanding of all the consuming applications of SAP CAR and SAP FNR Solutions.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 8+ years of work experience in SAP Retail or related retail consulting services engagements, out of which at least 10 years progressive related IT work experience in the Retail/fashion industry.
• Should have hands‑on experience working in all areas of SAP S/4 HANA Retail Solution, SAP CAR -POSDTA and anyone consuming application of SAP CAR. SAP Certification in one or more modules is desired.
• Extensive SAP experience and understanding of core business processes of SAP Retail and Fashion solutions, as well as a thorough understanding of all-consuming apps for SAP CAR and SAP FNR Solutions.
• Should have supported pre‑sales engagements, including preparing and delivering customer presentations. Should have supported phase‑0 assessments.
• A hands‑on, results‑oriented mindset with a strong inclination for action; a track record of "getting things done" under pressure with end‑to‑end thinking.
• Exceptional teamwork and organising skills, as well as excellent adaptability - able to define priorities and solve problems to meet deadlines in a dynamic, diverse environment
• Strong stakeholder management abilities and superior communication skills, including written and verbal communication, to clearly and confidently express technical topics.
• Should have supported pre‑sales engagements, including preparing and delivering customer presentations.
