Job summary

Simelabs in Bengaluru seeks a Sr. Solution Architect, D&T with SAP QM expertise to define and deliver IT-enabled business solutions for Quality and Operations. You will determine business needs, design technical SAP QM solutions, and align with ERP delivery standards.

The role requires 5–8 years of SAP QM experience, plus strong knowledge of QA processes and HANA. You will work in an agile environment, contribute to lifecycle documents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of related work experience with SAP QM implementations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems required.
• Agile/Scrum certification and ITIL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Quality and Operations to define User Stories for SAP QM enablement.
• Configure and deliver technical QA solutions in SAP and ERP systems.
• Serve as a core agile team member for sprint delivery and optimization.
• Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet business requirements stated in User Stories.
• Support system maintenance and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP.
• Create and maintain SOPs, SOIs, and job aids in line with West policies.
• Participate in Change Control processes and related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Sr. Solution Architect, D&T, SAP QM collaborates with the team in various locations to define, deliver and support IT enabled business solutions for the Quality and Operation functions. This role will also help determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions for these areas. The delivery of Quality systems including project delivery, system configuration and enhancement plus production support in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures will be your main focus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Possesses solid understanding of overall vision and business needs and utilize specialized expertise to collaborate with Quality and Operations to define detailed User Stories for D&T enablement of business needs. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices.
• Utilizes knowledge of best practices to help define strategic direction, help determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions for QA, in partner with Application and Infrastructure.
• Essential core member of agile sprint team(s) to configure and develop optimal technical solutions / features.
• Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements as described in User Stories.
• Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and process set within the ERP Services Delivery model, West policies and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP.
• Create and maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with West policies and procedures, including creation and maintenance of SOPs, SOIs and Job Aids.
• Work within and participates in the Change Control process.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or
• Bachelor's Degree Information Systems required

Work Experience

• 5-8 years of related work experience, i.e. 3 or more full implementations of SAP QM solutions
• Preferred but not required: Agile & Scrum Certification, ITIL

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Solid SAP skills – system functionality and technical understanding of QM and related areas (PP, MM, PM)
• Must be up to date on latest ERP release.
• Strong HANA knowledge preferred
• Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
• Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
• Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policy at all times

Travel Requirements

10%: Up to 26 business days per year
