Job summary

Neev Group Of Companies seeks an experienced SAP Quality Management (QM) Consultant to design, configure, implement, and support SAP QM across manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will translate quality requirements into scalable SAP processes and ensure seamless integration with adjacent modules.

The ideal candidate has deep end-to-end SAP QM expertise, hands-on S/4HANA experience, and ability to lead projects from design through production support.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements for Quality Management processes.
• Perform Fit-Gap analyses between workflows and SAP functionalities.
• Author functional specifications for custom developments and interfaces (RICEF).
• Configure and maintain QM master data and workflows, including inspections and UD.
• Ensure cross-module integration with PP, MM, SD, PM, EWM.
• Oversee Batch Management and traceability across the supply chain.
• Participate in implementation, upgrades, rollouts, and post-go-live support.
• Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with ABAP teams on custom solutions.

SAP Quality Management (QM)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SAP Quality Management (QM) Consultant to design, configure, implement, and support robust SAP QM solutions across our manufacturing and supply chain operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional business stakeholders to translate quality and operational requirements into scalable SAP processes.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in end-to-end SAP QM functionalities, seamless integration capabilities with adjacent SAP modules, and hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and production support.

2. Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering Process Design

• Engage with business stakeholders to analyze, refine, and document business requirements for Quality Management processes.
• Conduct Fit-Gap analysis between current operational workflows and standard SAP functionalities.
• Author detailed Functional Specifications (FS) for custom developments, reports, interfaces, and enhancements (RICEF objects).

SAP QM Core Configuration Management

• Configure and maintain core SAP QM master data and functionalities, including:
  
  • Inspection Plans, Master Inspection Characteristics (MICs), Sampling Procedures, and Schemes.
  • Catalogs, Selected Sets, and Catalog Profiles.
  • Quality Info Records (QIRs) for Vendor Quality Management.
• Configure and support key QM operational workflows:
  
  • Quality Planning Quality Inspection (Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspections).
  • Results Recording, Defect Recording, and Usage Decisions (UD).
  • Quality Notifications, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective Action workflows.
  • Quality Certificates creation and processing.

Module Integration Traceability

• Ensure seamless cross-module integration between SAP QM and key supply chain/manufacturing modules:
  
  • Production Planning (PP): In-process inspection lots, routing integrations.
  • Materials Management (MM): Goods receipt inspections, vendor evaluation, stock transfers.
  • Sales Distribution (SD): Delivery inspections, customer complaints, quality certificates.
  • Plant Maintenance (PM): Calibration inspections and equipment maintenance integration.
  • Extended Warehouse Management (EWM / WM): Warehouse inspection processes, inbound/outbound lot management.
• Oversee and configure Batch Management, including batch determination, classification, and end-to-end material traceability.

Implementation, Testing Production Support

• Participate across all project phases: implementation, global rollouts, upgrades, and post-go-live support.
• Execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with ABAP development teams to build and test custom solutions, reports, and system interfaces.
• Provide incident management, ticket resolution, and root cause analysis within defined SLA timelines.
• Support system governance and project documentation using SAP Solution Manager / ALM.

Training Documentation

• Develop detailed end-user documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business process charts, and training manuals.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge-transfer workshops for business key users and end-users.

3. Required Qualifications Skills

Functional Domain Expertise

• SAP QM Expertise: Proven experience in SAP QM module configuration, maintenance, and support across manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Core Capabilities: In-depth knowledge of Inspection Types, Inspection Lots, Results Recording, Usage Decisions, Quality Notifications, Quality Certificates, Defect Management, and Quality Info Records.
• Master Data Management: Deep proficiency in Inspection Plans, MICs, Sampling Schemes, Catalogs, and Selected Sets.
• Traceability: Strong understanding of Batch Management, batch classification, and full forward/backward supply chain traceability.
• Domain Knowledge: solid understanding of core manufacturing quality management standards and supply chain operations.

Integration Knowledge

• Hands-on integration experience between SAP QM and:
  
  • SAP Production Planning (PP)
  • SAP Materials Management (MM)
  • SAP Sales Distribution (SD)
  • SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
  • SAP Extended Warehouse Management / Warehouse Management (EWM / WM)
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA enterprise environments.

Technical System Exposure

• Experience writing Functional Specifications (FS) and specifying requirements for RICEF objects.
• Hands-on experience with interface testing and debugging support alongside ABAP teams.
• Proficiency with SAP Solution Manager / Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Soft Skills Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

4. Preferred Experience

• Participation in at least one full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration project.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., Automotive, Life Sciences, Chemical, or Consumer Goods).
