Job summary

Asquared Technologies (india) seeks an SAP PP Variant Configuration Consultant for a 6-12 month contract with onsite in Canada. The ideal candidate will have hands-on SAP PP, VC, LO-VC, and strong integration with SD/MM modules to support a global SAP implementation.

You will design configuration models, configure characteristics, classes, dependencies, and variant tables, and work with global teams including Canada stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SAP PP experience with Variant Configuration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes (MRP, BOM, Routing).
• Experience integrating VC with SD/MM and other SAP modules.

SAP PP Variant Configuration Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Variant Configuration Consultant to join our team for a 612 month contract assignment, with an opportunity to work onsite in Canada. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP), Variant Configuration (VC), and integration with related SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support SAP PP Variant Configuration (VC) solutions.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand product configuration and manufacturing requirements.
• Configure Characteristics, Classes, Dependencies, Constraints, Configuration Profiles, and Variant Tables.
• Develop and maintain configuration models for complex configurable products.
• Work on integration between SAP PP/VC and SD, MM, and other relevant SAP modules.
• Support BOM and Routing configuration for variant-dependent manufacturing scenarios.
• Analyze and resolve production issues related to Variant Configuration and SAP PP processes.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and developments.
• Support data migration, testing, UAT, and end-user training where required.
• Collaborate with global teams and business users, including stakeholders in Canada.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of SAP PP experience, with strong hands-on experience in Variant Configuration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes, including Production Orders, BOM, Routing, MRP, and production execution.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC).
• Strong understanding of:

• Experience working with global/onsite teams is preferred.

Preferred / Good-to-Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).
• Experience in discrete manufacturing or engineer-to-order/configure-to-order environments.
• Exposure to SAP VC integration with CPQ, SD, PP, and MES systems.
• Previous experience working on international or North American projects.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Canada.
