Job summary

MiniMed Group in Pune is expanding its Global Diabetes Capability Center to accelerate SAP PP/QM capabilities. This role provides end-to-end support for Production Planning and Quality Management within the Order to Cash process, as part of the broader strategic realignment.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years hands-on experience with SAP PP and QM.
  • Experience with PP/QM integration with MM, WM/LE, and FI modules.
  • S/4 implementation experience is mandatory.
  • Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) end‑to‑end, supporting manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Engage with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into SAP solutions.
  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing planning, execution, and quality processes for operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure PP/QM integration with MM, WM/LE, FI.
  • Design, configure, and support PP/QM solutions covering planning, execution, inspections, and quality controls.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specs, and process designs.
  • Support SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and production support; manage defects and improvements.
  • Lead design reviews, create solution documentation, and adhere to SAP best practices.

About the Role

A Day in the Life: Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes. This role will provide support for MiniMed Order to Cash Process. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Minimed’s Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a Senior functional consultant to Own and deliver SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM), supporting manufacturing and quality business processes end‑to‑end
  • Engage with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing planning, execution, and quality processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure integration of PP and QM with MM, WM/LE, and FI.
  • Design, configure, and support SAP PP/QM solutions covering planning, production execution, inspections, quality controls, and issue resolution.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process designs.
  • Support SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and production support, including defect resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage incident resolution, change requests, and enhancements, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
  • Lead functional design reviews, prepare solution documentation, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams on interface design, enhancements, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborates with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum 6+ years hands‑on experience with strong specialization in SAP PP and SAP QM
  • Hands‑on experience in SAP PP - Demand management and MRP, BOMs, routings, and work centers, Production orders and confirmations, Production versions and capacity planning
  • Hands‑on experience in SAP QM - Inspection types and inspection plans, Quality notifications and defect management, Results recording and usage decisions, Certificates, catalogs, and quality reporting
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality business processes
  • Experience with PP/QM integration with MM, WM/LE, and FI modules.
  • Exposure to master data management for PP and QM (materials, BOMs, routings, inspection characteristics).
  • S/4 implementation experience is mandatory
  • High business sensitivity, result oriented with ability to manage stakeholders and contractors.
  • Ability to work with teams across geographical locations with various functional & technical expertise.
  • Ability to work globally with diverse nationalities in a matrix environment
  • Proactive, self‑starter and able to take initiative
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
