Job summary

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Lead Consultant to lead SAP Production Planning implementations, rollouts, and support engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP PP, expertise in manufacturing processes, and proven ability to lead functional teams and deliver end-to-end SAP projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP PP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Conduct business workshops, gather requirements, and prepare functional solution designs.
• Configure SAP PP processes, including BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, and production orders.
• Manage MRP, demand management, capacity planning, production scheduling, and shop floor execution.
• Configure discrete manufacturing and repetitive manufacturing processes.
• Handle production order lifecycle activities, confirmations, goods movements, and settlement processes.
• Integrate SAP PP with SAP MM, SD, QM, PM, and CO modules.
• Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, forms, and reports.
• Lead functional testing, integration testing, UAT, cutover, data migration, and go-live activities.
• Manage project deliverables, risks, timelines, and team coordination.
• Mentor junior consultants and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of overall SAP PP experience with significant lead-level experience.
• Strong hands-on SAP PP configuration and manufacturing process knowledge.
• Expertise in MRP, BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, and capacity planning.
• Experience with production orders, shop floor execution, and production confirmations.
• Strong understanding of integration with SAP MM, SD, QM, PM, and CO.
• Experience in end-to-end implementation and stakeholder management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of MRP Live, Fiori applications, and advanced production planning.
• Exposure to SAP PP/DS and detailed scheduling.
• Experience in discrete, repetitive, or process manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing industries such as automotive, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or consumer goods.

Candidate Profile

• Ability to independently lead the SAP PP workstream.
• Strong client-facing and team leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing project deliverables across implementation and support engagements.
• Flexibility to support critical deployment and go-live activities.
