Job summary

In2IT Enterprise Business Services is hiring an SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to own the Manufacturing workstream on GROW with SAP programs. You will guide mid-market manufacturers from Fit-to-Standard through go-live with a clean-core approach.

The role requires hands-on SAP Central Business Configuration, SAP Cloud ALM, and deep MRP knowledge to optimize make-to-stock and make-to-order processes while collaborating with CXOs, shop-floor teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of SAP PP experience with at least one S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation.
• Hands-on SAP Central Business Configuration and SAP Cloud ALM experience.
• Deep understanding of discrete/repetitive manufacturing processes and MRP logic.
• Experience with SAP Best Practice scope items and SAP Activate.
• Manufacturing industry depth preferred (auto, engineering, chemicals, industrial products).
• Ability to work with shop-floor and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops for Manufacturing in the Starter system.
• Configure manufacturing scope in SAP Central Business Configuration across 3-system landscape (make-to-stock, make-to-order, etc.).
• Set up demand management, MRP, and capacity evaluation; tune planning parameters.
• Define and validate manufacturing master data and lead migration via SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
• Ensure clean integration with Sourcing, Inventory/Warehouse, Quality Management, and Finance for costing.
• Author and execute test cases (manual/automated); support UAT and cutover activities on shop-floor calendar.
• Enable Joule supply-chain capabilities and AI-assisted analytics; drive adoption with each release.
• Provide L2/L3 AMS support and continuous improvement for live manufacturing customers.

ROLE SUMMARY

We are hiring an SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to own the Manufacturing workstream on GROW with SAP programs. You will take mid-market manufacturers onto SAP Best Practice production processes in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition - from Fit-to-Standard through go-live - with a strong clean-core, adopt-not-adapt mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit-to-Standard: Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops for the Manufacturing line of business in the Starter system; document requirements, gaps and configuration decisions in SAP Cloud ALM.
• Configuration: Configure manufacturing scope in SAP Central Business Configuration across the 3-system landscape - make-to-stock and make-to-order production, production order processing, rework, subcontracting and Kanban scope items as applicable.
• Planning processes: Set up demand management, MRP (including predictive MRP where in scope) and capacity evaluation; tune planning parameters with the customer's planners.
• Master data: Define and validate manufacturing master data - material masters, BOMs, work centers, routings and production versions - and lead its migration via the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
• Cross-stream integration: Ensure clean integration with Sourcing & Procurement, Inventory/Warehouse and Quality Management scope items, and with Finance for production costing and Margin Analysis.
• Testing & cutover: Author and execute manual and automated test cases (Test Automation Tool); support UAT, cutover rehearsal and hypercare on the shop-floor calendar.
• Innovation adoption: Enable customers on Joule supply-chain capabilities (e.g. backorder processing runs, delivery and stock operations) and embedded manufacturing analytics; drive adoption of new scope with each half-yearly release.
• AMS: Provide L2/L3 support and continuous improvement for live manufacturing customers.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of SAP PP (ideally PP/QM or PP-PI exposure) with at least one SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation, or strong S/4HANA manufacturing delivery with public-cloud readiness.
• Hands-on SAP Central Business Configuration and SAP Cloud ALM experience.
• Deep understanding of discrete/repetitive manufacturing processes, MRP logic and capacity planning.
• Experience with SAP Best Practice scope items and the fit-to-standard delivery model (SAP Activate).
• Manufacturing industry depth - automotive, engineering, chemicals or industrial products preferred, aligned to our client base.
• Ability to work with shop-floor and planning teams as comfortably as with CXOs.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Exposure to embedded EWM/Inventory Management scope in the public edition.
• Key-user extensibility (custom fields/logic, custom CDS analytics) within clean-core guardrails.
• Familiarity with Joule and AI-assisted supply-chain scenarios.

Certifications & Education

• SAP Certified Associate - Implementation Consultant - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (Manufacturing) strongly preferred; SAP Activate certification an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production/Industrial Management or equivalent.
