Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking an experienced SAP PP VC Consultant to lead and contribute to SAP Variant Configuration projects across PP and SD. You will implement VC master data, dependencies, and MTO VC strategies, collaborating with global teams and clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of SAP functional experience, hands-on VC, and strong problem-solving skills. This contract-to-hire role offers challenging projects and opportunities to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of SAP functional experience.
• Strong experience in SAP Variant Configuration.
• Knowledge of VC Classification, Class Type 300 and 200.
• VC Master Data, including Characteristics and Values, Configuration Profiles, Super BOM, Super Routing, Pricing Conditions.
• Strong knowledge of VC Dependencies: Precondition, Selection Condition, Procedures, Constraints.
• Experience with MTO VC strategies.
• Good knowledge of SAP PP and SD master data and business processes.
• Experience with VC integration across PP, SD and MM.
• Basic knowledge of Engineering Change Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to SAP implementation projects and implementation roadmaps.
• Participate in requirement gathering and solution design.
• Identify and recommend best practices for business processes.
• Support deployment and implementation activities.
• Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Handle problem resolution and provide functional solutions.
• Manage multiple deliverables and projects across cross-functional teams.
• Work effectively with geographically distributed teams across different time zones.
• Interact with senior management and client stakeholders.
• Support application testing and deployment activities.
