Job summary

Kaar Technologies is seeking hands-on SAP consultants for a large Greenfield implementation project for a US-based CPG customer. The role requires Chennai residency or willingness to travel to Chennai from Bangalore, with no WFH option and at least 4 days in office.

Lead role involves 60% hands-on work and 40% team management, while team member roles are 100% hands-on. Expectation includes SAP S/4HANA (Plan to Produce), SAP Hybris, AVC, and end-to-end integration work.

Qualifications

• Domain knowledge in CPG is essential and prior SAP experience in CPG required
• At least 2 prior greenfield implementations
• Based in Chennai, or Bangalore with willingness to travel to Chennai; No WFH
• At least 4 days per week in office
• Shift roster with typical hours 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, extendable as needed
• Must be from a reputed university; no contractors or WFH candidates
• Possess SAP certifications

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Plan to Produce (Manufacturing Ops, Production Planning)
• Deliver AVC solutions for complex product configurations (BOM splitting, characteristic value from Hybris)
• Implement and optimize intercompany processes, including intercompany billing and stock transfers
• Ensure seamless SD-PP integration for MTO, MTS, and configurable products
• Implement and support Returns Management processes (returns, inspections, processing)
• Configure and optimize Third-Party Sales and drop-shipment scenarios
• Work on SAP Hybris (Commerce/CPQ) integration, ensuring data/process consistency
• Setup pricing procedure considering tax determinations
• Lead data migration and cutover activities (master data and open transactions)
• Prepare functional specs and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering, fit-gap analyses with stakeholders
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare
• Collaborate with FI/CO, MM, SD, EWM, TM and technical teams for end-to-end integration
• Provide thought leadership on S/4HANA best practices, simplifications, innovations
• Mentor and guide junior consultants

• 1st Preference is Candidate has to be based in Chennai only or Second Option - Bangalore but ready to travel to Chennai frequently and Work from Bangalore office (No WFH Option). If Chennai - Candidate has to be already based in Chennai not someone "willing to relocate"
• Atleast 4 days a week work from office
• Shift Timings are flexible and to be discussed (*** We can prepare a shift roster so that except during cutover all other days it can be in shifts). Typical expectation is 2.30 PM to 11.30 PM extendable on need basis

• Implement and optimize Intercompany processes, including intercompany billing, stock transfers, and cross-company integration.
• Ensure seamless SD-PP integration for make-to-order (MTO), make-to-stock (MTS), and configurable product scenarios.
• Implement and support Returns Management processes (advanced returns order, inspections, and credit/debit processing).
• Configure and optimize Third-Party Sales and drop-shipment scenarios.
• Work on SAP Hybris (Commerce/CPQ) integration, ensuring data and process consistency across systems.
• Setup Pricing procedure understanding the business requirement, considering tax determination into account.
• Lead Data Migration and Cutover activities, including migration of master data (customer, material, pricing, credit) and open transactions.
• Prepare functional specifications, work with ABAP/technical teams on enhancements, and validate WRICEF objects.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering, and fit-gap analysis with stakeholders.
• Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT), cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Collaborate with FI/CO, MM, SD, EWM, TM, and technical teams to ensure end-to-end integration.
• Provide thought leadership on S/4HANA best practices, simplifications, and innovations.
