Job summary

SAPSOL Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP PM Consultant with hands-on expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. The role focuses on PM processes within the Mining or Oil & Gas industries, including implementation, enhancements and support across ECC and S/4HANA environments.

You will gather requirements, design PM solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize asset maintenance. Strong integration with MM/QM/CO and data migration experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of hands-on SAP PM consulting experience.
• Deep functional knowledge of PM in ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
• Exposure to S/4HANA innovations like Fiori and Maintenance/Asset Management.
• Experience with equipment hierarchy, maintenance orders, planning, scheduling and execution.
• Strong integration knowledge with MM, QM, FI/CO and related modules.
• Ability to create functional specs and coordinate with ABAP teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end SAP PM implementation, enhancement and support activities in ECC and S/4HANA.
• Gather requirements, translate to functional specs, and design SAP PM solutions.
• Configure PM modules: equipment management, work orders, maintenance plans and refurbishments.
• Integrate PM with MM, QM, CO, PS, PP and EAM.
• Support data migration, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), training and go-live.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Mining or Oil & Gas to optimize asset maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose system improvements or innovations.
• Work with cross-functional teams on S/4HANA transformation or brownfield/greenfield projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of PM processes and proven experience supporting or implementing SAP solutions within the Mining or Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support activities in SAP PM across ECC and S/4HANA systems.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and design effective SAP PM solutions.
• Configure SAP PM modules including equipment management, work order management, breakdown & preventive maintenance, notifications, task lists, maintenance plans, and refurbishment.
• Integrate PM with other SAP modules such as MM, QM, CO, PS, PP, and EAM.
• Support data migration, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), user training, and go-live activities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders in Mining/Oil & Gas to optimize asset management and maintenance processes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, provide production support, and propose system improvements or innovations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in S/4HANA transformation or brownfield/greenfield implementation projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-10+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP PM Consultant.
• Strong functional expertise in SAP PM within both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA innovations (e.g., Fiori apps, Maintenance Management, Asset Management).
• Experience in equipment hierarchy, maintenance order processing, planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, QM, FI/CO, and other relevant modules.
• Ability to create functional specifications and work with ABAP teams for custom developments.
• Good understanding of master data (Equipment, Functional Locations, BOMs, Task Lists).
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Domain experience in Mining or Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream).
• Knowledge of industry-specific maintenance processes (shutdowns/turnarounds, asset integrity, reliability engineering).
• Exposure to SAP EAM, SAP MRS, or SAP Mobility solutions (Fiori/Work Manager).
• Experience in predictive maintenance or asset performance management is a plus.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP PM certification is an advantage.
