Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a SAP Performance Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on software testing experience to drive SAP performance initiatives across multiple locations in India. The role requires strong skills in performance testing of SAP applications, proficiencies in Python/Perl/ABAP/Java/C++, and familiarity with LoadRunner/JMeter/SOAPUI/Postman.

Candidate should be adept at JVM tuning, SAP BTP optimization, and monitoring with Dynatrace/AppDynamics, Kibana, and HANA cockpit.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++.
• Experience with performance testing tools: LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman.
• Knowledge of SOA, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.
• Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics.
• Ability to efficiently use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Expertise in SAP BTP platform optimization and its components (API management, SAP Integration Suite, etc.).
• Knowledge of BTP technologies like Smart Data Integration (SDI) and SCP iOS SDK mobile app performance testing.
• Experience with SAP BTP monitoring using Kibana, HANA DB cockpit.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms and O-Notation.
• Proficient in relational and in-memory databases.
• Code management using Git.

• Design and execute load tests using LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.

• Profile applications to identify bottlenecks and propose fixes.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
