Qcentrio is seeking an experienced SAP Performance Engineer to join our team in India. The role focuses on performance engineering across SAP landscapes and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal system performance.

The candidate will design and execute performance tests, use profiling tools like JProfiler, perform JVM tuning, optimize SQL queries, and develop automation scripts to enhance testing and monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance engineering and testing, with deep expertise in monitoring tools, JVM tuning, SQL optimization, and profiling techniques. The candidate should be able to proactively analyze and resolve system performance issues across SAP landscapes and work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal system performance.

• Design, execute, and analyze performance tests across SAP modules.
• Use monitoring tools and profiling techniques (e.g., JProfiler) to identify system bottlenecks.
• Perform JVM tuning, including analysis of thread dumps, heap dumps, and stack traces.
• Optimize and run complex SQL queries; analyze and improve indexing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide performance solutions and recommendations.
• Work on performance engineering across both application and infrastructure levels.
• Develop scripts or tools (using Python, Perl, Java, C++, or ABAP) to automate and improve performance testing and monitoring.
• Monitor SAP system health and provide performance tuning and root cause analysis.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Engineering, preferably within SAP environments.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages: Python, Perl, Java, C++, or ABAP.
• Strong experience in SQL query tuning and working with indexes.
• Solid knowledge of JVM tuning, including thread dump, heap dump, and memory management.
• Experience using profiling tools such as JProfiler.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
